How can I get my notice of Assessment?

Normally, your notice of assessment comes by mail around 10 working days after your tax return is electronically filed. 

You can request to be set up with CRA, to access information on your profile, by selecting option 2, and register first in "My Account for Individuals".  This is the Link to My Account

You can also select, when you have your tax return efiled by our office, to select the option to have your notice of assessment electronically sent to us.  When it is received, we can file it with your profile, and give you access to it through our portal.  You must let us know in advance to preparing your tax return that you prefer to receive your notice of assessment in that manner.  It is also preferred, if you have a refund, that you select to have it automatically deposited to your bank account.  It will save you a trip to the bank, and there is little chance of it getting "lost in the mail".
